    Aquest exemplar correspon a un fragment d'un core recollit a 1.500 metres de profunditat realitzat a Puigreig. Es tracta d'una roca calcària de color fosc amb nummulits. Aquests fòssils típics de l'eocè, són macroforaminífers de closca perforada, de forma planiespiral, evolut o involut. Subfamília: NUMMULITINAE
